All financial support is by appointment. Please call and make a booking prior to coming to the centre.
Food packages
As provided by Foodbank Australia, AAHYA distributes food packages to anyone in need every Friday.
Billing Assistance
AAHYA provides financial support for gas and electricity bills. As an Energy Accounts Payment Assistance (EAPA) Scheme provider, AAHYA is able to provide financial relief to people experiencing hardship.
Through the Telstra Bill Assistance Program, we are also able to help with any Telstra related landline bills.
Fine Assistance
As a sponsor for Work and Development Orders (WDO), people experiencing hardship are able to volunteer for AAHYA or attend AAHYA courses in order to pay off their fines. Contact staff to find what type of volunteering or which courses are available.
